An adapted progression
At the ESi, we are convinced that learning to ski should remain a priority above all else. moment of pleasure. Children learn more easily when they feel confident. Our instructors therefore create a reassuring, caring and dynamic environment. The exercises are adapted to the abilities of each group. They allow them to gradually develop balance, control of the skis, turns, braking and speed management.
Groups adapted to the level of each child
To encourage regular progress, the children are divided according to their Skiing level. A beginner does not have the same exercises as a child who is already comfortable on the slopes. This distribution allows the instructor to build a coherent session and to propose situations adapted to the group’s abilities.
Beginner children gradually discover the equipment and the first sensations of skiing. They learn, in particular, how to move, stop, and control their trajectory. Over the course of the sessions, they acquire the necessary basics to progress with greater autonomy on the slopes.
The medals
The collective courses of ESi are organized by levels, So that each child or adolescent progresses at their own pace in a group adapted to their abilities. Throughout the week, the tutor assesses the progress made and assists each student towards the objectives of the next level. At the end of a Collective stage per week (5/6 days), children and adolescents receive their ESi medal, offered by the school, to reward their progress and to value their learning on the slopes.
For more experienced skiers, group lessons allow them to perfect their technique and gain confidence. Instructors can work on turns, skiing, speed, and adapting to the different slopes. Depending on their level and conditions, children can also discover new play areas within the ski resort.
The group is also a real asset. The children share their experiences, observe their peers, and progress together. This dynamic fosters exchanges and can strengthen motivation throughout the stay. Everyone advances at their own pace, without unnecessary comparisons with others.
