At ESi Glisses Nordiques, we have been sharing the joy of Nordic sports since 2003. Our school welcomes children from 4 years old, teenagers and adults at the start of the slopes at Chapelle des Bois. Whether beginners or experienced, everyone learns at their own pace in a friendly atmosphere. Our courses have a maximum of eight participants from 4 to 6 years old, and twelve in the other groups.

We offer classic skiing, skating, biathlon, and Nordic skiing hiking. You can also explore the landscapes of the Jura on snowshoes or discover orienteering on skis. Thus, each activity offers a new way to progress and enjoy the vast spaces of Chapelle des Bois.

Our activities

At the heart of the Jura,

Personalized teaching

At ESi Glisses Nordiques, we prioritize groups that allow each child to progress at their own pace. Our camps welcome a maximum of eight children aged 4 to 6 years and twelve participants in the other groups. Thus, our instructors can provide advice tailored to each level. From the start of the slopes at Chapelle des Bois, they accompany you in your discovery of Nordic skiing.

The pleasure of Nordic skiing in the Jura

Do you want to learn classic cross-country skiing, improve your skating skills, or discover biathlon? We share our experience and enjoyment of skiing with beginners and experienced skiers alike. Each session helps you build confidence and fully enjoy the scenery of Chapelle des Bois.

We have just finished a week of cross-country skiing (classic style, skating, and hiking skiing, including three absolutely fantastic days of hiking and nights in a refuge) with Murielle. We also discovered biathlon with Julien. It was great! As beginners, in a group of six people, we made great progress very quickly and enjoyed the trails in the forest very much. I highly recommend it.

End of the classic cross-country skiing week

Private lessons for Papa and a one-week internship for our son. Incredible progress in just a few hours and, above all, immense pleasure between Chapelle des Bois and Pré Poncet, supervised by fantastic instructors! Our son loved it and is already asking to come back next year! Thank you!! (And bravo to Murielle for sharing the pleasure of skiing with the children by taking them always on such beautiful trails!)
