Aérolive: the first cable cars opened for a panoramic view in La Plagne

The La Plagne resort is innovating

On Tuesday 16 July, La Plagne unveils Aérolive, an original innovation that transforms mountain transport into a real experience. With this new concept, the resort offers visitors the opportunity to take in the view while fully enjoying the alpine panorama.

Aérolive consists of two fully open cable cars, named «The Acrobat» and «The Funambule». Unlike traditional lifts, these facilities allow passengers to travel outdoors. They thus offer a complete immersion in the mountain environment.

Equipped with a safety harness system, passengers can enjoy the journey in complete serenity. As the climb progresses, the panorama gradually opens up to the surrounding peaks. The experience also allows visitors to admire the scenery of the Vanoise and the alpine terrain from a particularly impressive perspective.
