Created at the beginning of the winter of 2006, the ESI Orcières is an International Ski School committed to a quality approach. A member of the International Ski Instructors’ Union (SIMS), it relies on a teaching charter aimed at offering professional and personalized support to each student.

A friendly and human approach

Adhering to a friendly and human approach to learning, the school prioritizes group classes with a reduced number of students to ensure better monitoring and progression tailored to each individual. Groups are limited to 6 students for beginners aged 4 to 6 years and a maximum of 8 students for the other levels. This organization allows instructors to provide individualized advice, enhance safety on the slopes, and create an atmosphere conducive to learning.

Qualified and passionate instructors

The ESI Orcières team is made up of state-qualified instructors who are passionate about mountain sports and eager to pass on their expertise. Accredited by the Ministry of Sports, the school also participates in the training of future professionals in ski teaching. Some members of the team also hold additional qualifications in the mountain industry, such as mountain guide or mountain guide. They all share a common goal: to share the pleasure of skiing and to support each practitioner in their progress, regardless of their level.

A mountain experience for all levels

We offer alpine and Nordic skiing lessons, snowboard lessons and other disciplines, for all levels, for children from 4 years old and adults. These classic formulas have already proven their effectiveness; we add our ESI touch: conviviality, sharing, fun… And to reward everyone for the work they have done during the week, a medal is a must! Another opportunity to share a good moment with your instructor.

First experience for our 4-year-old daughter, Romy, who loved her week of skiing with Jordan

First ski experience for our 5-year-old daughter, and we have no regrets about choosing the ESi....

Led by a small group, which allowed our daughter to progress very quickly in just one week. Very reasonable price. My daughter enjoyed the kindness of her instructor and the local apple compote 😀. ESI had been recommended to us this summer by a person from the village, who rightly pointed out that the groups were very small compared to its "rival". The choice was therefore quick, as I myself had experienced, 30 years ago, classes of more than 10 people, which left me with no good memories.

A big thank you especially to Antoine for his patience, his pedagogy, and his enthusiasm for teaching the lessons, giving of his time, and passing on his passion to little ones!

Jeanne will thus remember her first week on ski slopes, delighted with her "green mouse" medal. Next year, without a doubt!

Excellent experience! For a first time, we had opted for private lessons due to some self-confidence issues and shyness in public among our two sons (4 years old and 5 and a half years old).

. Jordan managed to put them at ease immediately, which allowed them to get into the groove and progress at a breathtaking speed! They loved their week and have great memories of it! They are also proud of their medal, a keepsake that transcends generations (as proof, when they got home, my mom showed them her own Cristal medal from the 90s!) A big thank you to Jordan for his professionalism, his teaching style, and his ability to adapt to each person’s needs. He truly had a heart for helping them progress, and every day we saw new achievements 👏👏
