Ski and snowboard courses at Métabief

The International Ski School of Métabief (in the Jura Massif) offers group lessons and private lessons in alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding and biathlon. We have a large free area for beginners (Children’s Garden). We also offer atypical activities such as geocaching, ice waterfalls, backcountry skiing (cross-country Nordic skiing) and hiking skiing.

Personalized follow-up for better progress

Today, more than 75 ski schools in France and Switzerland are grouped together within the ESI. This guarantees a warm welcome and high-quality service. Moreover, the instructors provide professional and attentive guidance. The teaching follows a recognized and structured method. Furthermore, group lessons remain limited to a maximum of 10 students per instructor. This allows for personalized follow-up and better progress. Additionally, the courses are offered in French and several foreign languages. These include English, German, Italian and Spanish. Finally, progress tests are organized every week. They allow for monitoring the progress of students throughout their learning process.

A «high-end» group class due to the limited number of children, which is limited to a maximum of 5.

For children from Bronze to Crystal Gold/Diamond level only during the February holidays, between 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. and from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. A perfect alternative to private lessons for several people, as it lasts 2 hours… It is also a way to learn and ski together in a more intensive way than a «traditional» group lesson. Lessons are provided starting from 2 registered participants.

Very nice experience with ESI Park in Métabief.

Our daughter Lily-Rose, 4 years old, has been taking classes since mid-January, one to two classes a week. She has already earned her Snowman medal and is on the verge of earning her White Rabbit medal. The instructors are wonderful with the children: she is always eager and happy to go! I also took a 2-hour course with Thierry. He immediately put me at ease thanks to his naturalness and easy connection. His approach is both gentle and very persuasive, while remaining pedagogical, which greatly helped me to surpass myself and gain confidence in myself. We will be back with pleasure, and Lily-Rose will definitely take a private lesson next year, maybe with Thierry 😊. Thanks to the whole team!

A big thank you to the whole team! We enrolled our 3 and a half year old son, and we were a bit hesitant, but in the end he loves it!

The instructors are top-notch; the exercises change every time I come to watch (in a sneaky way ;) ) and they are fun. He loved it so much that we enrolled him for a second week. We did not expect such collective progress with a child of that age. And the medal at the end of the week makes the children so proud! We are delighted! Can't wait for next winter!
